A condo/townhouse in small city of Northampton, MA near Smith College.
Our house is a 2 bedroom with 2 full baths, condo/townhouse. It is separated from the condos on each side by garages so it does not share a common wall with the others. It has a small private, fenced-in backyard with a deck, a front porch, and basement, and it is on a quiet dead-end street. It is 3 blocks from Main Street, Northampton, and within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes, music venues, book stores, bakeries, a city park, food stores, a few farms, bike paths in 3 different directions, walking paths, the Connecticut River, Smith College, the Center for the Arts, the Amtrak train station (4 hrs to NYC), the Trailways Bus Station, and bus stops for local buses to other nearby towns and colleges. It is a 5 min drive to Mount Tom, a 15 min drive to the Holyoke Mountain Range, a I hr drive to the Berkshires, and a 3 hr drive to NYC.

My husband Jay is a retired environmental services executive, and I am a retired legal aid lawyer.
We are both active and like to travel. We bike (e-bike for me), hike, kayak, ski, etc. We love being able to walk into town and take advantage of all that Northampton has to offer, and we enjoy taking the train from Northampton to NYC. Jay's daughter lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and almost 5 year old child. We want to spend the month of November near them in Portland.
