About the neighborhood
Penticton, a small city with a population of approximately 34,000, is located between two lakes, Skaha to the south and Okanagan to the north. Surrounded by highlands and mountains, it is the perfect location for those who love the outdoors.
People come to Penticton for hiking, cycling, swimming, golf, boating, rock climbing and channel floating in the summer and downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. But if you just want to relax, you can frequent the lake beaches or visit one or more of the many award winning wineries that line the Okanagan Valley.
We live in a residential area of Penticton. We are within easy walking distance to Skaha Beach and Park. Penticton is easy to navigate with other beaches, shopping, dining, galleries and museums all a short drive away.
There are so many things to do in and around Penticton. Originally inhabited by the Salish people, Penticton translates to "a place to live forever."

My wife and I are retired educators who love an adventure. We have travelled quite a bit over the last three years including trips to Australia, a number of countries in Europe, Japan and of course, the US and Canada. We are anxious to return to Australia as well as taking on new adventures.
We have two sons and a daughter-in-law we are very proud of. The eldest lives in Calgary, while the youngest is married and resides in Vancouver. We are always prepared to visit them, so if you reside in either of those locales, we would be very interested in hearing from you.
