Charming house with citygarden on a quiet street in the historic centre of medieval Amersfoort. With restaurants, museums and cafes around the corner, 30 m trainride from Amsterdam or 15 m to beautiful scenery. Possibilities for hiking, cycling or canoeing near the city.
Cosy livingroom with open kitchen, garden with shed. On the first floor there are two spacious bedrooms and a small bathroom (no bath). On the attic there is a third bedroom.
Amersfoort was chosen European city of the year 2023.

As I live right in the middle of the old town there are musea, shops, restaurants and everything a city centre has to offer. There are 2 bikes available at my house so you can explore the surrounding countryside where you'll find a river, woods, "polder" and lakes. The trainstation is a 10 m bikeride and the train will get you in Amsterdam in 30 m, Rotterdam in 60 m or Utrecht in 15 m.

We loved to stay in Arjennes's house. The garden has been changed since the pictures were taken and is adorable. So much in such a small area. We appreciated cooking in the kitchen and eating at the table with views of the garden through windows from floor to ceiling. The house is situated within minutes to the city centre. Amersfoort is a charming and lively town which has a lot to offer, but also with easy access by train to other parts of the country.
I had the great pleasure of doing a home exchange with Arjenne. From our first contact, she was warm, open, and completely trustworthy. Communication was always clear and friendly. Arjenne’s home was perfectly prepared – clean, well-kept, and full of harmony and personal charm. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay was there, and her thoughtful touches made me feel truly welcome. The location turned out to be ideal – peaceful, yet perfectly situated for exploring. Amersfoort charmed me with its historic center, canals, and greenery. Thanks to this exchange, I was able to take my time discovering the beauty of central Netherlands. Arjenne left my home in perfect condition – with great care and respect. The entire exchange was marked by mutual trust, kindness, and a shared sense of responsibility. Thank you, Arjenne.

Hi! In the past I have done several exchanges across Europe and it has been a wonderful experience. I usually travel with my partner, who has his own house. So non-simultaneous is possible.
We love the outdoors, especially hiking, and are fond of history and culture.
As I can plan my work as a dramatherapist when I want and am not tied to schoolholidays, I'm rather flexible in my holidays.
