Our home in Cardiff by the Sea is just steps away from the Pacific Ocean, and just minutes from all San Diego, California, has to offer. A quaint, seaside village - Cardiff-by-the-Sea - is where people are friendly and the pace is relaxed. Walk to the beach, markets, ocean view restaurants and shopping. Take the Coaster Train to San Diego Santa Fe Station or stops along the way. We are located approximately 20 miles from the city of San Diego. Nearby local attractions include Lego Land, Sea World, Disneyland, San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. About 1 or 2 hours drive are the cities of Julian, Los Angles, Hollywood, and Palm Springs. Our apartment is attached to our home. It has 950 sq ft (90 sq meters) of living space.. The apartment includes a bedroom, queen bed, a full bath, kitchenette and washer. There is a small second bedroom.

We are very proud of our home, and you will find it relaxed and warm. Chris is a retired elementary school teacher. She enjoys pickle ball, golf, cycling, reading and travel. Neil is retired from full time teaching at Palomar College, but is still teaching part time in the area of Graphic Communications. Neil enjoys golf, pickle ball, cycling, photography, and travel. In addition, both Chris and Neil work at the San Diego County Fair organizing youth exhibits during the early summer. Our kids are grown and on their own in San Francisco, Ca (Ryan) and Santa Monica, CA (Dana). We like to travel with another retired couple.

Our home in Cardiff-by-the Sea is well situated with an ocean view and short walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
