A spacious house in a quiet housing estate close to Dublin city centre., Ireland
We live in a small quiet estate with tree lined footpaths and three green play areas.
Our house is comfortable and spacious with 4 bedrooms upstairs and two reception rooms and a large kitchen and bathroom/shower downstairs.There are attractive front and rear gardens with mature trees and shrubs.

We have a very good bus service to the city centre and there are many shops, supermarkets, shopping centres, restaurants and banks nearby. There are historic monuments and pubs etc close to us.You can walk to them in a few minutes.Lonely Planet lists a local pub Kavanagh's -The Gravediggers-as one of the top secret places to visit in Eurupe.
The Tolka Valley Greenway and The Royal Canal are close to our house.
The Glasnevin Museum & Cemetery is across the road from us-an essential visit to learn about our nation's history. You can take a very interesting tour and visit the new museum.
We live very close to the National Botanic Gardens (a short walk) and The Gravediggers-one of Dublin's most famous pubs- is only a few minutes on foot.The Phoenix Park with its herd of deer and the Zoo are close to us also.We are close to the Joyce Museum, the Municipal Art Gallery, Trinity College and Temple Bar.
There is much to see and do in our neighbourhood and in the city centre is not far.
We are not far from the airport, train stations and bus stations and if you wish to explore Ireland it is easy to leave Dublin from where we live.

Spacious house with garden close to the city centre.
There are three in our family. Joe 71 and Colette 69 are retired teachers and we have one son ,Shane 28 who does not live with us.

We have had many successful exchanges and enjoy staying in other countries.
We have been to France, Italy, Spain, Belgium Austria and the Netherlands.
We have made friends in the countries we have visited.
We have had exchanges in Ireland as well!
We took a break for some years from house exchanges but are now looking forward to exchanging our house again
We live in Glasnevin, a suburb of Dublin, close to shops and the city centre and we are well served by bus routes.There are shops,parks including the Phoenix Park nearby . The National Botanical Gardens are a 10 minute walk from the house. Both the sea and the mountains are easily accessible.
