Less than 2 hours by train from Sydney Airport and 1.5 hours by train from Sydney city, our home is the best of both worlds. Located in the lower Blue Mountains, we look out over a wooded valley at the edge of the Blue Mountains World Heritage area. Our street runs along a ridge and is a short walk 3 minutes by car) to the village of Springwood, where you will find the train station and all of the shops, services, cafes and restaurants you could need.

Our house sits on a ridge snaking south from the Great Western Highway. Everything is located on one level, just three steps up from the front entry path. We have a newly-renovated kitchen and laundry/2nd toilet; large living/dining room with western view to the bushland and a wood stove; two bedrooms with Queen beds; a home theatre/lounge; one bathroom with bathtub shower combined. The back of the house faces west and is raised above the sloping back yard, with a large deck overlooking bushland.

We have an extensive library of books, music DVD and video streaming, with a room dedicated as a home theatre with surround sound and a 77-inch screen. An e-bike is available for use.

We have an undercover car parking space and our local station is less than 15 minutes walk from the house. Local cabs are also available.
