Welcome to our beautiful penthouse, fully renovated in 2019, just a 10-minute tram ride from the heart of Florence. The tram stop is a short 3-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city while enjoying a peaceful retreat.
Our home offers two comfortable and inviting double bedrooms. The first features a luxurious king-size bed with a memory foam mattress and direct access to a balcony. The second bedroom can be arranged with either two single beds or a double and a single, accommodating up to three guests. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom.
Designed for comfort and style, the apartment is equipped with air conditioning and mosquito screens throughout, elegant parquet flooring, two balconies, and a charming rooftop terrace. The space is quiet, spacious, and meticulously cared for.
As you step inside, you'll be welcomed by a warm and stylish living area featuring a custom-built bookshelf designed by a renowned architect—home to around 2,000 books. Upstairs, a second lounge awaits, complete with a home cinema (projector and retractable maxi screen), a study area, a laundry room, and our rooftop terrace—perfect for aperitifs and al fresco dining.
Every detail of our home has been carefully curated with love and attention—it’s not just a place to stay; it’s a place to experience. Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Peretola (Florence) - 10 minutes tram ride
Our apartment is a 5-minute walk from the Cascine park, the biggest green area in Florence, lovely for picnics, walks in nature, cycling and skating (rentals available). Our neighborhood, Novoli, is one of Florence’s most dynamic and up-and-coming neighborhoods, blending modern city life with a strong cultural and academic presence. Home to the University of Florence’s bustling new campus, the area has recently undergone a wave of revitalization, making it an exciting place to stay.
A standout attraction is the Manifattura Tabacchi, a former tobacco factory transformed into a stylish hub for arts, design, and innovation, featuring trendy cafés, galleries, co-working spaces, and cultural events.
Novoli is also a vibrant commercial district, packed with shops, restaurants, and cafés, as well as top-tier amenities like the Virgin Active gym, a multiplex cinema, a shopping mall, and a beautiful new large supermarket offering fresh and gourmet products. Well connected to the historic center by tram (10 minutes to the historic center of Florence), Novoli offers the perfect mix of local charm and modern convenience.

About Our Family
We are a mature couple—I’m Italian, and my wife Anne is Scottish. I’m an academic, teaching Classics and Ancient History, while Anne is now retired. We have two children in their 20s, one of whom still lives with us. At home and between us we normally speak English.
We love books, traveling, great food, and connecting with curious and open-minded people.
Lifestyle
When we don't work we love reading, watching films - actually there is a home cinema in the attic), and traveling. No parties and no extra guests are allowed in the apartment.
