Open for summer 2026
Cosy semi-detached house with garden situated in a quiet district of Pressbaum. Thanks to its location near the forest, it remains pleasantly cool, especially during hot weather.
The house (150m2) has:
1 livingroom/kitchen-area (50m2),
1 masters-bedroom (160x200)
3 more bedrooms
2 bathrooms
We have laundry facilities with tumbler, hd-tv and wlan.
There is a balcony (15m2), a terrace (20m2) and a garden (about 120m2) that borders on the neighbours garden.
In the garden there is a BBQ-grill, a ping-pong-table and a shed with different playing stuff.
Since winter 2025 we also have a small sauna-hut in the garden.
Our car is a Renault Grand Scenic (7 seats).
We have a cute cat called Mira.
Pressbaum and the Wienerwald is a great place for hiking, horse-riding and mountain-biking.
In walking-distance there is a tennis-club where also guests are welcome (https://www.pressbaum-tennis.at/)
There is a ropes-course 15 minutes away by car. https://www.kletterpark.at/
Public pool (5 min by car)

Austrias capital Vienna is only a short trip away - either 15 minutes (city limits) or 30 minutes (center) by car or about 30 minutes by train (Austrian Railways).The railway station "Dürrwien" is in 5 minutes walking distance.
Linz and Bratislava can be reached in about 1.5 hours by car, and Salzburg and Budapest in around 2.5 hours.
It takes about 1 hour by car to reach the "Neusiedler-See", a big water-sport-area and nature-reservate. (https://www.neusiedlersee.com/)
The famous landscape of the Wachau (UNESCO world heritage region) is less than 1 hour away (http://www.austria.info/at/reiseziele/osterreichs-schonste-regionen/wachau)
Many other beautiful regions like the "Wiener Alpen" (https://www.wieneralpen.at/) or the "Ötscher-Land" (https://www.naturpark-oetscher.at/) can also be reached in about 1 hour.
In winter you find skiing-areas in a 1,5 hour distance (Annaberg, Semmering) and several skating-places in Vienna or - when it is cold enough - at the Neusiedler-See.

Jag skulle vilja att, om vår partner samtycker, Intervac gör följande tillägg till min referens på min partners annonssida: 20 km west of Vienna lies Pressbaum. A cozy little town in the middle of the green, hilly Wienerwald. That’s where we spent a wonderful week in April 2025, living in Wigelbeyer’s big house. After the Intervac exchange, we spent a few days in Vienna, at a hotel in Leopoldstadt. A very good combination. First hiking, biking and … relaxing in and around Pressbaum! Then exciting culture and history in Vienna, named the most liveable city in the world! The cherry on the cake: our opportunity to get to know, at the beginning and at the end of our exchange, the charming, very musical Wigelbeyer family. We highly recommend them. We hebben genoten van het grote huis in een groen stille omgeving. Alles dichtbij; supermarken en openbaar vervoer. Fijne snelle communicatie, en schoon zowel daar als bij thuiskomst. Lekker koel binnen ondanks hittegolf. We konden ook e-bike, electrische step en scooter gebruiken :) We voelden ons heel welkom. Wenen en omgeving vonden we ook bijzonder de moeite waard, na 2 weken waren we nog niet uitgekeken. Absolute aanrader!

We (Judith and Christoph) both work in Vienna as music-teachers and musicians. Judith works as a Psychotherapist as well.
We have 3 daughters: Anna and Clara (2004) both visit University and live in Vienna. Emma (2010) is still in school and lives with us.
Our cat Mira is simple to take care of and very sweet.
