Cosy house in Andalucia, Almería Coast Spain
Our house of holidays is in the southeast of Spain in the Almeria coast, on the beach Vera village, it’s in a gated community with swimming pool, with direct access to the beach (situated just a few meters from the beach) . The house is a bungalow, it has a living room with kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other has a bunk bed and a single bed. Outside there is a nice garden with porch and barbecue. In the area there’s a supermarket ,chemist, hotels and several restaurants.
The beach is large and it has a sailing school, “Over Limit Náutica” (http://velaalmeria.es) where you can do windsurf, kite surf, catamaran, optimist, walking of boat…. There’s also a restaurant with chill out and a nice drinking area at night.
- Nearest airports:
Almeria Airport, about 80 km by motorway
Murcia-San Javier Airport, about 140 km by motorway
Alicante-Elche, about 200 km by motorway
- Nearest places:
Garrucha is 1km walking by the beach or 3km by car, where you can eat the best fish in this pleasant fishing village.
Mojacar is on a mountain about 10 km from home. It´s a lovely typical Andalusian village of whitewashed houses and charming corners. In the beach zone you can find what you want: nightspots and spectacular beach bars to have a drink, dance...or tranquillity. http://www.mojacar.es
If you like the Wild West you should not miss the desert of Taberna, is a place with unique and enigmatic landscapes where scenes of legendary films were shot ( "Lawrence of Arabia", "Cleopatra," "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "Death had a price" or " Indiana Jones and the last crusade ") or recently "Game of thrones".There’s a thematic park, specialy kinds would enjoy it.

About 40 minutes drive from home begins El Parque Natural del Cabo de Gata, is “the jewel in the crown”. Cabo de Gata-Níjar Nature Park was Andalusia's first marine-terrestrial protected area. This area is also internationally recognised as a biosphere reserve on account of the contrasts it contains between marine, coastal and terrestrial environments.
I think that is one of those places in Spain that you can not miss, wild beaches, crystal clear water, spectacular cliffs or the lovely hidden coves offering locations in which to relax
