1930s house in suburban south Dublin city
A 1930s semi-detached house with its own garden in Milltown, south Dublin city. Modernised in 2016 with a new kitchen/living room, and extra bathroom downstairs and so on. Upstairs, it has two bedrooms and two home offices. Bedroom one is small with a super king sized bed filling the room. Bedroom two has a single bed. There are lots of books, maybe too many, but great if you are readers. Perhaps you are interested in Dublin as a literary city? The house is in a quiet leafy neighbourhood, off the main road about 2.6 kms from the centre of the city. The reliable tram (LUAS) is 15 minutes walk away, and there are (less reliable) buses 5 minutes walk away. We have a car and it may be possible to exchange but we would have to check out insurance details. So far we have done just one exchange with AT05555 in Vienna, Austria.

Milltown is a quiet suburb in south Dublin. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes in nearby Ranelagh, also Dublin 6
The river Dodder runs through the suburb and you can walk both sides of the river park.

About Our Family
We are a (semi) retired couple in our 60s with one daughter in her 20s studying in Galway University. We would love to swop with a similar couple. We are interested in the arts, culture and history and want to explore new places. We have a new car (Hyundai i20 manual/petrol) and would be prepared to exchange cars if the insurance can be worked out. We would be exchanging as a couple as our daughter has other options.
