House in Garidech, France
Come to our house in the Toulousian countryside where the sun often shines.
Our beautiful house is situated in a small rural town, only 15 min from Toulouse, 30 min from Albi.
Toulouse is France’s fourth largest city. It is located in the southwest, one and a half hours from the Mediterranean sea and from the Pyrenees mountains and two and a half hours from the Atlantic Ocean. You can also visit the fortified town of Carcassonne, Lourdes with the famous apparition of the Marian of Our Lady of Lourdes, Lascaux caves with Palaeolithic cave paintings, medieval Cathar castles in Montsegur or some of the most beautiful villages of southern France like Najac, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Lautrec, Rocamadour, medevial town of Albi, ...
Toulouse, the “pink” city is famous for its typical architecture: with the “Capitol” (mayor building), Saint-Sernin Basilica (the largest Romanesque church in Europe) and the “Canal du Midi” classified " World heritage of Humanity” (take a houseboat ride!); and for its art and culture: with the sculpture museum of “Augustin”, the contemporary art museum of “Abattoirs”. You can also rest and relax in the botanic garden.
Toulouse is the city of the aerospace industry. Airbus has its main production site here where you have the opportunity to go onboard the Concorde or as well onto the recent big A380 aircraft. It is also hosts the “City of Space park” which shows a real scale model of the Arianne space launcher and other attractions.

Close to the house there is a park for tree climbing, stables for pony rides, a Gallic village.... And many walking paths.
Want to go farther? The Basque country, Spain, Andorra and much more are waiting for you!
And of course, you will not leave without tasting a “magret de canard” (duck breast meat) with a good Monbazillac Sauvignon wine or a “cassoulet” with a good Bordeaux.
