Flat in PARIS, France

Our apartment is a two bedroom typical Parisian flat with a nice living-room and a balcony. It is located within the city wall.
There are two sofas in the living-room, there you'll also find a cable TV, a DVD player, a Wii, and a computer with Wi-Fi. We have a master bedroom with a big double bed. There is a bunk bed in our children's room but if you need a cot for a baby, we still have one. We tend to think our place would best suit either a couple, or a couple with one or two children. However we have a brand new sofa in our living room which can quickly be converted into a very good double bed, so if you don't mind opening and closing it, a bigger family can also be welcome in our place. Just tell us what's better and more comfortable for you.
The bedrooms look onto a quiet interior garden which means that you can take very peaceful breaks although you are in a big city. We are on the eighth floor so the view is pretty breath taking and thanks to the wide Hausmann style Avenue we live on, there is no vis-a-vis. The place is always very bright.
The kitchen is fully (fully!!) equipped with a dish washer, microwave, gas cooker, washer-dryer machine and about all the cooking appliances you can dream of but then again, who wants to cook when you can have a taste of French cuisine in the nearby restaurants?
The bathroom is functional with a bathtub and regular and Italian type showers. There is a separate loo.
There is a caretaker ("concierge") in the building, he is extremely nice and helpful and after so many years, he's very used to meeting our Intervac friends.

Our Neighbourhood

Our street is quiet according to Parisian standards, however the neighbourhood is very lively and you can find a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars, cinemas and swimming pools within walking distance. Nonetheless, the area still remains the "greenest" in the city thanks to the Bois de Vincennes which is but a mile away.
Twice a week, there is a huge market round the corner where you can find products from all over the country. It is a must-do as the atmosphere is so lively and true to that "je ne sais quoi" of the French way of life. With a "baguette" under your arm and a little basket to carry around, you'll just blend in!
The nearest subway station is at the foot of our building and five minutes further, you can find the largest subway station in Paris (Nation) which basically means you are less than 30 minutes away from most touristic attractions. Nation is the second main public transport hub in the city, in our opinion there isn't a better starting point to roam around Paris. It is also where the train leaves to go to Disneyland Paris (35 minutes. )
