A spacious comfortable house in an attractive location on the Wild Atlantic Way close to Galway city

Our four-bedroom house is located in a pleasant neighbourhood 10km south of Galway city on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are just a few hundred metres from the coast. Shops, restaurants, pubs, and a bus stop are within a five minute walking distance. There is an hourly bus service to/from Galway city.

This is a comfortable, bright family home with a large kitchen/living room (over 30 sq.metres), sitting room, four double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have showers. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a spacious dining/living area. It opens on to a large patio with a table and seating. Our nice back garden is relaxing and private. The sitting room has a stove.

Wifi is good. Of course we have a tv with numerous channels and you will find lots of books in our house.

Our Neighbourhood

Nearest Airport: Shannon -

Oranmore is a village by the sea just 9 km from Galway city. With regular bus and train connections to the city, it is now part of the Galway suburban area. We live in a mature and pleasant estate in the village. Our house is within a five-minute walk of shops, pubs and good restaurants. The bus stop is just a three-minute walk away and it takes approximately 20 minutes to walk to the train station or you can drive there and avail of free parking.

Rinville Park is a three minute drive or ten minute cycle from our house. The Park is a wonderful amenity with an extensive network of walks through woodlands and by the sea as well as a great children's playground and picnic area. Galway Bay Golf Club adjoins the Park. You can dine or have a snack in its restaurant while enjoying the stunning views over the bay on fine days.

There is a public bus service to/from Galway city centre every 30 minutes from early morning to 11:30pm. The regular bus service gives easy access to the city and all its attractions without the hassle and cost of driving and parking. There is always something of interest happening in Galway with its numerous festivals and cultural events.

The Burren to the south is just a half-hour drive from our house while Connemara is also easily accessible by car.
