We live in a semi rural location and there are four other houses which come off our driveway. All the houses have complete privacy and yet are close enough for there to be a really nice community feeling amongst us all. We meet a couple of times a year for a "get together".
Our local village is Eumundi which is fairly quiet most of the time but on Wednesday and Saturday it has hundreds of visitors keen to visit the market where a lot of the goods are locally produced and are either home made or home grown. It is a huge tourist attraction and has something for everybody.
Other local country towns are Yandina (which also has a great market on Saturday), Cooroy and Pomona. There is an abundance of quaint shops with antiques, bookshops clothes, cafes and coffee shops.
Noosa which is probably the most popular tourist destination in Queensland has three shopping centres, the Noosa River, Noosa Main Beach and the National Park. Hastings Street is the "up-market" place where tourists from Melbourne, Sydney and in fact all over the world, come to be seen. Famous celebrities are often seen in the cafes here.
Every type of sport that you can think of is within a short distance of here including golf courses, swimming pools, gyms, surfing. Noosa is awash with healthy people keen to keep as fit as possible. There are also a couple of local theatres and a movie theatre complex.
Brisbane is only a couple of hours away, by either car or train if you enjoy city life.

About Our Family
We do not have a family but regard all the local wildlife as part of our family group.
We enjoy living a healthy life style and eating some fruit and veges from our garden. Our garden is very peaceful and we enjoy spending time eating outdoors. There is a barbeque on the back patio and also an outdoor setting. For more al fresco eating there is another outdoor setting complete with umbrella in the orchard by the dam. A hammock overlooking the dam is my favourite reading place. We also love watching the bird life on the dam. Every morning we go for a 30 minute walk around Marnie Crescent and then John does his weight exercises and I do tai chi. Saturday mornings John runs and I walk along the coast path in the Noosa National Park then Sunday we have breakfast in a little French café in Peregian Beach and then go for a swim and a long walk along the beach. Eumundi Markets are only a short ride away and are ideal for buying locally grown produce, having a delicious breakfast and listening to some local musicians. Golf clubs, boogie boards and tennis rackets are at your disposal if you feel inclined.
