We have already made holiday plans for summer 2020, but would be interested in somewhere warm for autumn exchange!
A detached house in large private grounds close to Hill of Tara. The house was originally an old cottage but has been extended and refurbished. The accommodation consists of 4 double bedrooms (master en suite). Two of the bedrooms, including master, are on the ground floor and the two upstairs have washbasins.The family bathroom is on the ground floor. We have a modern kitchen/ dining room, a large bright living room and a small cosy sitting room. There is also a laundry/ utility room.
There are well maintained gardens surrounding the house and a patio in a sheltered, walled area.
We are few minutes drive from M3 Motorway, which gives easy access to Dublin City and Airport.
The surrounding area is rich in history and many well known sites, Tara, Newgrange, Dowth, Loughcrew are a short drive away.
For the golf lovers we have a selection of wonderful Parkland courses within an hours drive, and Killeen Castle, where the Ladies Solheim Cup was played is 15 minutes drive away.
The well known links course Co. Louth is also less than an hours drive.
Our local village is 2 miles away and has supermarket, butcher shop, post office, church and 2 pubs!
In the nearest towns of Navan and Trim (10 miles) there are many fine restaurants.

We live in a very quiet, rural area surrounded by green fields and farmland.The house is on a country road which leads to the Hill of Tara, where you find a lovely coffee and gift shop. (20 minutes walk).
The ancient monuments of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth are 30 minutes drive away.

About Our Family
We are retired teachers and our hobbies are travelling, walking and golf.
We have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren (who will not be travelling with us.)
There are golf clubs available if interested in a game in any of the many clubs close by.
There is a selection of childrens equipment and toys also available as we regularly have our grandchildren to stay.
We had a wonderful exchange in Toronto in 2016 and look forward to more adventures in 2019..
