The house is situated in the town of Carhaix-Plouguer (8000 inhabitants) in a quiet neighbourhood. It is our secondary residence that we have finished renovating in 2017. It is entirely furnished. The property measures 1500 m2. The two-story house plus fully-developped basement provide a living space of approximately 250 m2, comprising the following:

  1. Souterrain: Garage and workshop, basement kitchen and storage.

  2. Raised ground floor (six steps above street level): porch, entrance hall, main kitchen, living room with adjacent glassed-in verandah, bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom and toilet.

  3. First floor: Two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed, bathroom-toilet, study and storage room.

The garden (1200 m2) with its large lawn, flower beds and outdoor seating is completely enclosed.

While it's merely a 10 min. walk to the centre of town you can also reach a commercial area (Leclerc supermarket, Lidl, pharmacy etc.) within just two minutes in the opposite direction.

The house is situated in the very heart of Brittany at a 70-80 km distance to the coast and beaches of the peninsula. The town of Carhaix is the capital of the Poher district in the department "Finistère".
To the university city of Brest (140.000 inhabitants) it is a one hour drive (84 km), Quimper (63.000 inhabitants) is 60 km away and Lorient (57.000 inhabitants) 71 km

C'est une maison en ville de Carhaix-Plouguer (8000 habitants), à environ 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville.
C'est notre maison secondaire que nous avons fini de rénover en 2017. Elle est entièrement meublée. Elle occupe la partie centrale du lotissement rue de la Lande de Calan. Superficie totale maison + jardin: 1500 m2. C'est un quartier tranquille.

La maison comprend 3 niveaux (surface totale des 3 niveaux: environ 250 m2):

- niveau 1, demi sous-sol: garage-atelier, cuisine 2, rangements;
- niveau 2, rez-de-chaussée + 6 marches pour y accéder depuis le rdc: sas d'entrée, entrée, cuisine principale, salle de séjour, salle de bains 1, WC, chambre, véranda;
- niveau 3, étage: 2 chambres, bureau, salle de bains 2-WC, rangements.

Le jardin (1200 m2) est entièrement clos (gazon, parterres fleuris, meubles d'extérieur).
La maison se trouve à 10 minutes environ à pied du centre-ville, dans une direction, et, dans l'autre direction, à 2-3 minutes d'une zone commerciale (Hypermarché Leclerc, Lidl, pharmacie...)

Carhaix se trouve à environ 70-80 km des côtes et des plages bretonnes dans les 3 directions: sud, ouest, nord.
