A beautifully restored 17th Century ruin in the mountains

My home is a 17th century three story attached stone house on the edge of a small mountain village. The view from my front steps is mountains and forest and you can often hear church bells ringing in the distance. It is a very tranquil relaxed setting. I am 2 hours by train, bus or car to Rome and about the same distance to the Amalfi Coast. I live 40 minutes from the Adriatic Sea and beautiful beaches. The closest city is Sulmona which is called, the city of art. Introdacqua has a small population but there are many expats, like myself that call it home on a part time or full time basis.

The house was a ruin until I bought it and completely restored it. My intention was to make it my retirement home and I have. Last year I sold everything I had in the US and made a quantum leap and moved here full time.
